Show Up For Success
Nature. Place. Belonging
Show Up For Success is a Cross-Sector collaboration between The Lab E20, Newham Council, Kind At Heart CIC, RAEBURN & Get Living. Our mission, through co-creation, is to develop and scale a place-based platform in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and to create a programme for young people with disabilities here in East London, who wish to excel in career pathways into the creative industries and hospitality sectors.
Following on from our successful pilot 2024 Show Up For Success summer school in partnership with Newham Council’s Youth Empowerment Service in 2024, for 2025 we have a bigger and broader scope extending to industry, employers and local commercial stakeholders, exploring the ways in which we must reskill, upskill and improve talent retention and accessibility in corporate and cultural spaces.
The Show Up For Success: Nature, Place & Belonging Symposium took place in The Lab E20 1st May, 2025, featuring keynote presentations from Amanprit Arnold, founder of Deafcity Hub, Natalie Kane, curator - V&A, Valen Calenche, DEI Lead Fair Shot and panellists such as Kelly Gordon and Emma Gardner founders of With Not For.
This conference was supported by our partners Fair Shot Cafe, Adoreum & Partners and University Arts London and in collaboration with a host of experts, practitioners and our artists in residence here in The Lab E20, we have fostered new connections, solutions and partnerships for the future as we begin to develop and scale employment opportunities for our Show Up For Success annual Summer School.
Stay tuned for further updates on our Show Up For Success 2025 Summer School Programme this August.
